Conquest Joinery was primarily set up as a hobby by Norman Boardman to service the local village, Darcy Lever in Bolton with window frames, doors, sheds and fencing and has been trading since the late 1960’s. In 1985 Ralph, Norman’s son-in-law, succeeded him as Managing Director of the business. Ralph’s two sons, Matt and Dan, have since joined the business and have been involved on a day to day basis now for almost 20 years. The business has expanded from humble beginnings in an old Dutch barn and has always been run by a member of the family and they currently employ in excess of twenty members of staff.

Over time, our reputation for manufacturing quality products grew and we evolved into a professional manufacturing facility supplying a bespoke service on wooden pallets, sheds and fencing to Bolton, Greater Manchester and the North West. Our natural progression and growth, coupled with our outstanding level of service and competitiveness within the market, secured a number of large contracts with blue chip organisations and national building companies – who we have proudly served for many years.

We mainly manufacture and distribute bespoke wooden pallets to companies all over the UK. We design, manufacture and supply a wide range of fencing, garden sheds, log cabins, timber decking, chalets, summer houses and other similar garden products. Many of our products are designed to meet the specific requirements of the customer and our site is open to the general public 7 days a week. We stock a full range of fencing and timber decking on site and our friendly staff are always available to discuss any specific requirements or technical questions.
